Within the Bábkarská Bystrica festival, this is the third conference concerned with puppetry productions for adults (1/ Is puppet theatre for adults?, 2010, 2/ Notable directors in puppet theatre for adults, 2012). It thematically builds on efforts to provide the puppet theatre for adults with a stamp of approval.

Jungmin Song: Revitalizing Shakespeare: Puppet Co-productions in Britain
Didier Plassard: Edward Gordon Craig’s Drama for Fools and Shakespeare
Henryk Izydor Rogacki: Puppets play Shakespeare
Nina Malíková: Shakespeare and the Czech puppet theatre

Simultaneously translated from English by Katarína Feťková.

The conference takes place thanks to and in association with the Theatre Institute Bratislava, the festival's main expert partner.
Individual entries will be released in a Theatre Institute's publication.
We express our thanks to the Research Commission UNIMA for their support.
